About This Site

This essay was written by Clayton Glasser during Sep 2010 - May 2011.

It is his senior thesis project for Gutenberg College, a school located in Eugene, OR, which offers a four-year BA in Liberal Arts. The curriculum is based on the "great books" and taught in discussion-based classes.

The essay is highly imperfect, and represents only an ongoing process of understanding Heidegger and Ellul. However, as there is very little material on the internet exploring the relationship between and possible synthesis of these two thinkers, it is published here to aid those interested in the topic.
